Job Description (Short Summary of Role)
(Senior) Safety Engineer – Regulatory Compliance – Authority NL is responsible for: To support (lead) Regulatory Compliance activities and team on a project related to the PED, WBDA, ATEX, WBDA for NL projects. Responsible for obtaining Notified Body Approvals.
Preferred Experience (software, language, specific knowledge or expertise)
Significant technical experience and skills in the following areas
EU Directives (PED/ ATEX/ etc.)
Coordination with authorities and notified bodies
Non-negotiables (Minimum criteria that are required for hire, used to shortlist applications)
Process Safety knowledge and experience; Master’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or in another relevant engineering discipline;
Authority Engineering capabilities for complex multi-office projects. EPC(m) project experience.
Familiar with International and European and Dutch rules and regulations related to Authority Engineering and Safety Engineering.
Able to report in the Dutch Language to the Authorities.
